The Many Faces of Mount Kanlaon

Mt. Kanlaon viewed from a sugarcane plantation in Guibawan, Budlasan. Taken with a phone.
It is common for most of us Canlaonians to have an active volcano as the backdrop of our homes--something that is atypical for a lot of people from neighbouring municipalities, cities, and provinces. Whichever corner we go around the city, the sight of the majestic summit always guide us as if to tell us to relax because we are safe and at home. Sometimes when we think we won't see it because of our location or because of the lush trees, the Canlaon Volcano tries to assert its presence by peeking through the scenery.

Can you spot the volcano here? *wink*
I have gone to a lot of places around Canlaon and got the chance to capture the beautiful Mt. Kanlaon in various landscapes. Here are two more shots taken from my now-dead camera.

Picturesque in any angle.
This is a rare view of the mountain range where the volcano proudly emerges. Taken in Prosperidad, San Carlos City.

Do you photos of the beautiful Mt. Kanlaon? Why not share some with us and we'll gladly upload them here for the world to see?

I'll wait for your pictures!

Xoxo,

R
